American Quarter Horse For Sale in Texas

Oliver is a four year old bay gelding with loads of potential. If you are looking for personality, you have come to the right horse as well. He needs someone who is going to appreciate and love him for his friendly nature. He is the horse that is in your pocket and wants to be around and with you every chance he gets. Olly is the only horse that when all the other horses run off to play or eat, he will stay right there with you. He is not afraid or the chainsaw or weedeater and matter of fact he will be right there to help out.  A funny liitle guy to put it lightly. However, although Oliver wants to be with you, he is a very respectful horse. He has had groundwork every since the day he was born, and has training all the way up to working in the round pen with the saddle. Matter of fact the pics of me sitting on him are the first time he had had a saddle or rider. So you can see that he has brians behind that nice wide forehead. Olly has expressive eyes and a cute little boy face, although sometimes he seems older than his years. Ponying, trimming, clipping his bridle path, bathing, loading, catching, tying are all things that he mastered as a baby. He has NO bad habits whatsoever. It is actually sad for me to seee that a horse with his potential and intelligence is just sitting in the pasture. Oliver wants to learn, he just has not had the chance to shine yet. The ONLY REASON that his training is not as progressed as it should be is because I thought that if I was going to be stuck with any of my colts that I had, I wanted to be stuck with him. But because of this reason, I started, trained, and sold all of the others first, and he got left behind. Now it is Olly's turn. He is quick on his  feet, athletic, can turn on a dime, and still have enough self control to be sane. I have seen all this when working him in the round pen and watching him playing with the other horses. In my opinion he would be a great barrel racer, pole bender, trail horse, or 4-H project. He is now at the perfect age to start training hard for his new career!
